MyMedicare: A New Way to Manage Your Benefits

Managing your Medicare benefits has never been easier. MyMedicare.gov is a free online portal where Original Medicare recipients can access information related to their Medicare coverage and manage their claims, benefits and more. Learn more about the features of this tool below.

MyMedicare Features

MyMedicare.gov is a secure website that is available to users 24 hours per day and includes a number of key features and capabilities. Once enrolled, you can use your MyMedicare portal to:

• View claims
  Users may view claim information for both Medicare Part A and Part B immediately after the claim has been processed by Medicare. Patients can use MyMedicare to order duplicate Medicare Summary Notes (MSNs) and utilize paperless correspondence.  

• Access plan and coverage information
  Using your MyMedicare.gov sign in allows you to view plan enrollment and eligibility status, view your Part B deductible, compare health and drug plan costs and view quality information about providers.

• Manage your health
  Create your own On the Go report with information about your health that can be easily shared with health care providers. The information can be downloaded and printed out or accessed on a mobile device. You can also manage your drug list and pharmacy information as well as a calendar for upcoming preventive services.

• Customer service
  A customer service center is available to help with your account, registration, sign-in and more. The customer service center can be reached by phone or live chat to provide patients with real-time one-on-one attention.

• Demonstrations
  MyMedicare includes virtual tours that provide online demonstrations for help with a number of different topics.  

• Privacy and security
  MyMedicare.gov is a secure website that can only be accessed with a username and personalized password. All users must agree to the CMS Online Services and Web Confidentiality Agreement.
