So what are these out-of-pocket costs commonly associated with 2025 Medicare Part D plans?
Premium
Your Part D premium is the monthly amount that you pay to belong to the plan.
Deductible
Your deductible is the amount of money you have to pay out of your own pocket before your Part D plan coverage kicks in.
Cost-sharing
You may have to share some of your plan's costs for drugs after you meet your deductible. This can come as a copayment (which is typically a flat fee) or as coinsurance (which is usually measured as a percentage of the bill).
